Possibly one of the most amazing games I have ever witnessed.. in that… 90% of the time I can call every play that is going to be run at any given time and in any given situation… NOT so in this game… as Head Coach Guizar fooled me completely. Had I been the opposing coach Efrain would have beat me 60 - 0. AGAIN.. size was an issue… but our Seniors didn’t hesitate in using their strengths - Speed, Finesse, Agility… AND, I have to add.. the most amazing improvement in Offensive Line blocking compared to the first week I have ever seen. WHOEVER is coaching our OL… KUDO’s. #4 Mr. Gonzales was… welllll, Mr. Gonzales.. simply amazing… but then… he was hurt by a terrible horse collar. My heart stopped. YET, we had the lead… now, surely, Efrain goes to running the clock and protecting the lead…. never been so wrong in all my life.. INSTEAD… Efrain goes to an empty backfield and with a wealth of receivers like KYF has seldom seen suddenly we aren’t ‘protecting’… we are attacking… and not just ATTACKING… but putting on an ‘air’ display seldom seen at this level.
